the fifth china international import expo set up the "ten years of the new era" exhibition, focusing on achievements of china's opening up. it also sets up special zones for provinces, regions and cities of china, among which, the exhibition site of shaanxi has an area of 360 square meters, the largest among the previous ones.
the exhibition area of shaanxi applies the aesthetics of traditional architectural design, implements multiple architectural elements, and builds the main structure with lines of ancient architecture. an open, rigid and flexible space layout is thus developed, which indicates the rich historical and cultural heritage of shaanxi.
the led screen at the main aisle of shaanxi exhibition area is 16 meters long and 5.5 meters high. there are four large screens on the outside of the exhibition area, presenting shaanxi's natural, historical and cultural landscape.
the entire display highlights the achievements of shaanxi over the past ten years: solid steps in high-quality economic development, new breakthroughs in the construction of the inland reform and opening-up, continuous improvement in the quality of the ecological environment, crucial progress in cultural construction, and continuous enhancement of livelihood protection and social construction. the exhibition also showcases the introduction of each development zone in shaanxi, industrial advantages, investment projects, policy environment, and development achievements of the 12 urban areas in shaanxi.
